Do you think flat and fast golf courses make great cross country races? Do you flinch at the thought of a challenge? If so then you don't need to read any more.
But if you love racing up kite eating hills that make grown men whimper then we have some good news for you. This fall Team Red Lizard (TRL) will be hosting the first ever Team Red Lizard XC Series. The series will consist of 4 races varying in length from 5k to 5 miles over a variety of courses and terrains.
The first two races of the series will be held at Gabriel Park and Pier Park. These courses set the standard for local XC and will leave you and your loved ones questioning your sanity.
The final two races will be set in more picturesque venues, but you likely won't be able to enjoy the views with all the mud and sweat in your eyes. Our race at Mt. Tabor promises a hill climb like no other XC course. And we will be saving the best for last. The series finishes with the race at the Klock Blueberry farm in Corbett. This course will blur the lines between xc race and a scramble.
After the final race join us for some post race festivities. The farm features a state of the art conference center (ok a barn, but a really nice barn) which will host the series award presentations and a kick ass party to start off your hallowe'en festivities.
Take a run on the wild side this fall with Team Red Lizard. You won't regret it.
