Research on Female Ultrarunners

Rhonna Zena Krouse from the Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University is looking for female ultra distance runners to participate in a new study:

If you are a female athlete, eighteen years of age or older, who competes in off-road ultramarathons, you are invited to participate in the following study. Below is the abstract of the study followed by a link to the survey. My motivation for this research stems from my passion for ultrarunning and awareness of the lack of information available about who we are and what we do. My research findings will be posted here on December 15, 2008, so please check back. Thank you for your participation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, Rhonna Krouse at rzkrouse@cableone.net or Dr. Lynda Ransdell at 208- 426-4270 or LYNDARANSDELL@BOISESTATE.EDU.  If you have questions or concerns regarding the study and would like to talk to someone other than the researchers, you may also contact The Institutional Review Board.  You may reach the board from 8:00am to 5:00pm (MST) Monday through Friday at 208-426-5401, or by writing: The Institutional Review Board Office of Research Compliance, Boise State University, 1919 University Dr. Boise, ID. 83725-1138.
